Punter Folio operates as an affiliate comparison site. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you follow a link and subsequently register with that operator. This arrangement is standard practice across comparison and review websites.

How affiliate links work on this site

When you click a "Visit site" button on Punter Folio, the URL contains an affiliate tracking parameter (such as ?btag= or &affid=). This identifies the referral as coming from Punter Folio. If you go on to register and play, the operator may pay us a commission based on your activity. You pay no more — the commission comes from the operator's marketing budget, not from you.

Does this affect our reviews?

We try to make sure it doesn't. The grades and written assessments you see on this site are based on our evaluation of each operator's platform — their licensing, responsible gambling tools, game range, mobile experience and support. We do not accept payment for positive reviews or higher grades. No operator has editorial control over what we publish.

That said, we acknowledge the potential conflict of interest openly: a site that earns commissions from the operators it reviews has a structural incentive to give favourable assessments. Our response to that is to be transparent about the model, publish our grading methodology, and write honestly about the differences — including limitations — between operators.
